ABOUT LIZARD LANDSCAPE DESIGN AND ECOLOGY
LLD has been a registered Chartered Practice of the Landscape Institute for the past twenty years, several members of our team hold Professional memberships with the Arboricultural Association, and are Chartered Members of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.
We offer a personal and competitive client service, based upon experience of planning, environmental, design and development projects.
Our Approach
The nature of development projects has the potential to damage the local natural environment, and therefore sustainability is at the forefront of our ethos, our philosophy and practice operations. Working with clients and design teams, we seek to work towards retaining and protecting the natural environment of woodland, trees, hedgerows, grassland and other important landscape and ecological habitats within development sites.
Our design approach places an emphasis on the values of the local council and community; the people, working groups, volunteers and businesses being entirely inclusive throughout the design process through to implementation. We believe that greater value can be gained through community input, whereby ownership should pass to the collectives within the community to dynamically affect and implement the future management of the project aims and achievements.
